KZO Comics · Lancelot

Good Bye

She has a dream worth losing for. He has a sword and a pawnshop.

Odette has been losing to Swan Castle's 90-year-old gardener, Mr. Reya, for seven years, because beating him is her father's price for letting her see the world. Watching her chase that goal, Lancelot decides he is only a burden here. Sent to town on a shopping trip with Featherdown, he slips away to say a quiet goodbye, with one stop left at a pawnshop.
